this account is "inactive" when I try to sign in to firefox

Help! I haven't been asked to "sign in" to Firefox in the many years that I've been using this Browser. But suddenly tonight, it wants to ask me to sign in when I try to access Firefox. And when I do enter my User ID and password, I get back the message telling me..."This account is inactive"! So, how can I fix that? Told you I have been using Firefox for "years"! lol

Are you being prompted to log into the Firefox sync? If so, your sync account may have been deleted because it was not used in such a long time. However, you can use Firefox without the sync feature. You should be able to just close the prompt and continue browsing the web with Firefox.
