I would suggest getting Firefox from the source: Mozilla. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

I did go to the source and was told that because I have 3.6 running 6.0 will not download. I deleted 3.6 and was still not able to download 6.0

Did you try the page I suggested? Choose the language you want and download the version for your OS (which seems to be Windows). Click that link and it will download. I just did that with my older laptop which is still running 3.6.

Download latest Firefox version from one of these links:

• http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/
• http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

Uninstall your current Firefox

• DO NOT SELECT TO REMOVE USER DATA AND SETTINGS

Installing Firefox on Windows (use the Downloaded latest Firefox installer)

I deleted 3.6 after downloading 6.0 and Firefox is still running, so I believe the new system is working. Thank You
