Are you saying you can't open more than 1 tab at a time? That problem might be because of the Ask Toolbar.. it has created this problem for many people. Try disabling that.

Or run firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to figure out where its creating a problem. Also see Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

No, I want two tabs open at the same time so I can drag and drop from one tab to another or copy to and from. I queried for the info, but there were no answers. I was just asking the basic question....what do I have to do to have 2 tabs open on my screen....so I can see...info in both tabs.

This extension allows you to view two pages at the same time in the same browser window. Not sure if drag'n'drop will work or not. Ask about that in the support thread for that extension.

There's a support thread for that extension over here.

You can copy text and hover that selected text with the left mouse button down on another tab on the tab bar until that tab opens and drop the text in a text field in that tab. You need to make sure that that text area is visible because you can't scroll the page. You can also tear off that tab (temporarily) to a new window and resize them to see both windows. Move the tab back to the other window once you are done if you prefer that.

Thanks to all of you for your replies...we all were making it to hard. Being fairly new using Firefox I got overly anxious when I could not just copy and paste or drag and drop. I found it....Size to current window to half screen, Drop down File to Open new window. BINGO! Thanks again everyone...and thanks Firefox...you all have made being on the net so much easier....and NO adverts popping up or slowing u down!
