Why is my error console full of errors?

Every time I view a new page, my error console logs dozens of errors saying either 1. "Error in parsing value for 'background-image". Declaration dropped. or 2. Unknown property 'box-shadow'. Declaration dropped. Does anyone know what this means, is affecting my systems performance, and/or can be corrected, and if so, how?

You can ignore (CSS) errors in the Tools > Error Console.
Those errors are only useful if you develop websites and want to check the HTML/CSS and JavaScript code for errors.
Most errors are code for other browsers like IE or browsers on other platforms or just typos or the result of bad coding.
