Good morning. I have a number of email accounts coming into Thunderbird. I am unable to send emails from one account. This is the message that pops up. "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Must issue a STARTTLS command first. 15-20020a17090a08cf00b001efa9e83927sm6583636pjn.51 - gsmtp. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again."

Can you help? Thanks in advance Jan

Hello

for this account, you have to go to Edit / Account settings, in Server Settings, Security Settings, select 'Use StartTls' in the Connection security dropdown list.
