Why does Firefox Android now put Google search pages into a separate group of tabs that I can't close by swiping?
How can I change that back? Also the other issue I have is that opening any links on homepage results in them opening on new page automatically, I don't see the option to change it either.

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
Are you able to share a screenshot of what you are seeing? We do not have any specific results functionality for Google searches that would do this.

guess i'm switching to chrome on my phone then. these app's behaviours are really time wasting and irritating.
