Hi, I've been using Thunderbird and the Lightening Calendar function for ages. However, for the past few weeks I've been getting problems with the calendar in that all the calendar entries disappear! It appears that it is the addon- 'provider for Google Calendar' that is the cause of the problem because to get things working again I just disable the add-on, unsubscribe for none of the calendars, and then re-enable the add-on - and all the entries reappear again! I've uninstalled the add-on and re-installed it but the problem persists. Can anyone suggest another fix to resolve the problem?

Removing and re-installing the add-on works in some cases:

otherwise, there are alternatives to Provider:

Thanks for the information. I did the uninstall/re-install again yesterday so what I'll do is to wait and see if it happens again and then follow your suggestion about alternatives to Provider. Thanks, Bill

I tend to either start in safe mode or restart in safe mode and then restart with addons enabled. Bit tedious but not a huge problem. Guess we'll have to wait for the Provider for Google Calendar to be fixed. I only have the one addon so doing the above isn't big problem.
