No audio from Firefox 74.0 on Pop_OS 19.10

more options

Audio from sites accessed in Firefox 74.0 does not play on my Pop OS 19.10 install. Other applications sound just fine, but Firefox does not. This is the case whether I have extensions installed or not, whether I start Firefox in safe mode or not.

I've followed the relevant steps in the support articles on fixing sound problems. (Pulse audio version 12.2-2 is already installed and functions properly with other applications.)

RESOLVED

This issue appears to have resulted from a problem with my GPU drivers. After fixing that issue, audio works on most sites in Firefox. The one exception is Disney+, but this behavior is the same in Windows so I assume it has a different root cause.
