What happened to drop down newsfeeds? I want my lists of summarizing news headlines

My toolbar bookmarks no longer present a dropdown list of summarizing news headlines. I want a quick and easy LIST to scan down, not a bunch of "trailers" that I have to wade through.

Thank you, McCoy, for your reply. I understand that eliminating the RSS feeds (I now know what to call them) was a matter of cost vs usage BUT I liked and used RSS several times every day. I hope Firefox figures out a way to bring the feature back.
