Thought this would be simple... what's Fred Smith's postal address? Open "Address book" in Thunderbird, type Fred Smith, his name pops up and under is his postal address. But I can't copy and paste it to put it into an email or document. I can go "edit" and then I have to copy and paste each line seperately (some postal addresses have 5 or 6 lines) and risk accidentally deleting or changing a line... what am I missing here? How do I copy this text to the clipboard?

Try the MoreFunctionsForAddressBook add-on. I believe it is responsible for the fact that if I right-click a Contact, there are options such as Copy Other Data>Home Address.
