I've read through pages of solutions. None seem to apply. Ideally I'd like to go to the Google Home Page with the search bar in the middle and the Google account options in the upper right had corner. I can get there by using the Home Icon on the search bar, or by clicking the arrow button on the page Firefox opens, but why won't Firefox open my home page automatically? So frustrating.

Have you checked in that box that nothing has been added to the url or left overs are still there from previous URL. This can make issues finding the page.
