I have 3 email accounts linked to Thunderbird which have all been working fine.

2 days ago my live.co.uk account became unable to receive emails. I get 2 error windows that pop up.

First error window is "The current operation on 'Inbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account **********@live.co.uk responded : user is authenticated but not connected." Second error window is "Server *********@live.co.uk has disconnected. The server may have gone down or there may be a network problem"

Both other email accounts (gmail.com and btinternet.com) work fine. Have checked online tools to check live server and appear fine. I am able to log on directly and get latest messages on live.co.uk website so the account does work. There have been no changes to computer. Have checked server settings on Thunderbird and all is correct. I have cleared out the cache. I have reinstalled but has had no affect.

Any ideas?

Cheers, thank you. That link tells me more info. Seems to be a general issue for a lot of people at the moment so I'm not alone.

Hopefully outlook will fix the issue

Will save that link ;)

Once again, Cheers
