Thunderbird starts one email account; no way to choose others
I have 4 email accounts. Since yesterday, when I start Thunderbird one of the 4 accounts starts automatically. I have no opportunity to choose another. As I recall there is an option to start an account automatically, but I have not (knowingly) chosen that.

is this gmail?
No, it is aol. I had a verizon account (and retained the address) when verizon shifted it's email customers to aol. All was well for a week or so, and I could access either of my two accounts that had been shifted to aol, and the two old accounts which I accessed on my PC by specifing "work offline" when I started Thunderbird. I renamed my profile to see what would happen, but Thunderbird still tried to start that same account and gave an error message that it could not find the profile. I thought about uninstalling T-bird but I think to do that I need to be in T-bird. Perhaps, a download and re-install if I can save all my old info.
