Have error 5.7.0 come up and say I need to use STARTTLS encryption. This program has worked fine before today. Settings are all correct.

Sounds like you mail provider has changed the connection setting you need to use to access your mail. Bigpond/Telstra in Australia and Verizon in the USA are both undertaking significant changes. are you a customer of one of them or some other mail provider?
