Let Thunderbird update this morning. It crashed. How do I fix it? I don't want to lose the files I already have on Thunderbird.. Received this msg: "Error: Platform version '38.7.0 is not compatible with miniVersion > = 38.71 maxVersion , = 38.71"

Please try starting Thunderbird in its Safe Mode. Hold down the shift button whilst starting it.

Please report back on the outcome.

That didn't do it. Nothing I've tried works so far.
