My firefox browser wont allow me to check the Remember Login box. How can i change this to that it will remember them?

When i got to: Tools - options - Genera page opens, i then go to Security. When the Security page opens there is no way for me to check the 'Remember logins for sites' . See attached image.

hello Kathleenl, firefox won't save your passwords when you've set it up to run in permanent private browsing mode ("never remember history" in the options > privacy panel).
