when i inserted my user name & password here https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/utils/login/session/L3RpbWUvMTQ1MDA4MTUxNS9zaWQvWTRRWFpXRG0%3D i clicked on log-in button, but nothing happened, no response, & not just that, when i disabled it i got in, but the site said i'm at new IP address so i need to confirm its me, they send mail with confirm stuff & then i could log in, i logged in on game site before, but support has separate log-in despite that it uses my game acc for log-in, in other words when i'm logged-in on game site i still have to log-in support using my game site username & pass

1) so my question is, does UBlock gives fake IP when its active (wile hiding mine)? 2) is there option to just tell UBlock that Log-in button is not suspicious? 3) & if there isn't option for that then when will it be fixed

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

  • Clear the Cache and
  • Remove Cookies
Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to.

Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar.

  • Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.
  • Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.

Are you running the UBlock addon or the uBlock Origin. The UBlock addon is run off of an out-dated fork of the uBlock Origin. You should use uBlock Origin.

Since every Firefox addon is different, I'm not really sure what the uBlock Origin addon does, in regards to your IP address. Some blockers do run a fake IP to prevent tracking, but I'm not 100% sure that uBlock Origin does.

If you are having issues with this addon, the only solution is to disable it on that website and contact the addon developer for further assistance.

Are you sure that this issue is caused by uBlock?

Did you check what content is blocked by the extension and possibly disable it for this website? You would have to contact its developer for support if there is a problem with an extension.

Are you using this version? uBlock Origin: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

An extension can't change the IP. Changing the IP can only be achieved by using an anonymous proxy.

If that is the case, it would best for you to contact the addon developer or the website developer to report the issue. Unfortunately, since the issue appears to be caused by an addon, there is nothing that we can do from our end. Sorry for the inconvenience.
