Firefox advises me to send an Excel file via Filelink. If I do that, will the recipient be able to oen the Excel file regardless of his/her email programme

File link doesn't attach the file to the messages. It uploads the file to a server and places a link to that file into the message body.

The recipient just clicks the link and gets the file from the server.
