Cannt get the tune in supported radio feature on the tool bar to start .

I've tried several times to turn on various radio stations thru the toolbar RADIO. Once in a very great while, the selected station will come on. most times I cannot get any response whether from the most poular local stations or any other station. Really would like to know how to do this.
