How do I change my Privacy features?

Mozilla VPN's Privacy features allow you to add extra layers of defense to your connection using DNS-level safeguards that specifically target ads, trackers, and malware.

Activate and deactivate Privacy features

  1. Open the VPN, and at the bottom right, click (or tap) the Settings icon.

  3. To activate the features you want, tick the box next to them. You can choose one or more options at the same time. To deactivate a feature, just untick the corresponding box.

  4. A message confirming you'll override the current settings will display if you have a Custom DNS set up. Click Confirm to proceed.
