Hey, I hope you all have a nice day. I just wondered... On Mozillas website it sais that all passwords are encrypted by the users masterpassword. But I did not find the exact description how the passwords are still encrypted when the user chages the masterpassword.

It should go like this:

-User enters in the process of changing his password his current one.

-Server sends all encrypted Passwords to Client

-Client decryptes passwords

-User enters new Password twice

-Client encryptes all passwords and sends them to the server again

I wonder if this is the case. I would appreciate it if someone could link a site where this is described for the passwordmanager.

All my saved password and login information just randomly got wiped right now. 2 seconds ago I was able to login on a site using the saved login information. After that I tried logging in on a different site and it didnt show me any saved login info. I went to settings and saw the the list is completly emptied now. I havent closed my browser in the meantime or so I am so lost please help. All I have in this list right now is the account info I just created :(

I can not get Firefox version 111.0.1 to work with Fedex tracking system. I get a message from Fedex saying "Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve your tracking results at this time. Please try again later." But when I use Microsoft Edge I get all my tracking information. I have cleared the cache for Fedex but that does not work. I have had this same problem with UPS also.

I HAVE YAHOO WIDER MAIL EXTENSION IN FIREFOX & HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS BUT NOW THERE IS NO ICON IN MY MENU BAR FOR YAHOO MAIL. YAHOO IS STILL MY DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE. WHAT CAN I DO? IT SAID TO MAKE SURE & RELOAD YOUR YAHOO MAIL PAGE AFTER INSTALLATION WHICH REALLY ISN'T MY ISSUE BUT WOULD IT HELP, z& IF SO, HOW DO I DO THAT? P.S. FireFox works well for everything I need except for youtube. There is usually a 5-10 second delay before a video starts playing. And once it is playing the video will often stutter (audio stays fine). Overall the site just runs really slow. I've tried using a private window and the problem is present there without any of my extensions active. Also I've tested on Chrome and youtube runs much smoother in that browser. Please help?

A few days ago, I tried to log in to yahoo mail, and started getting this after I clicked okay: "Redirecting . . ." (print screen below). Now I get the same problem when I paste links into the search bar. I think this started with the new March 31st update. It isn't just one site or application, which seems to suggest that FF is the problem. https://prnt.sc/dIc_AerJtR7g The tab gets stuck there.I cannot view my mail on ff at all, but I can on my phone, probably because I wasn't forced to log out and back in. I cannot paste links. FF is basically unusable for me right now except for sites that I use frequently.

As of today, all of my Firefox extensions have stopped working and all of the search engines have been removed from the Default Search Engines menu.

I've tried everything I can find for either problem, but nothing has worked and they seem related?

Extensions:

• Reinstalling extensions did not work. They're still listed as enabled on my extensions settings page.
• I'm not in private browsing mode and my extensions are set to be usable in private mode anyways.
• Extension icons don't appear anywhere in the customizing menu for the toolbar, including the overflow menu.

Search:

• Deleting the search.json.mozlz4 file did not work; it didn't create a new file.
• "Restore Default Search Engines" button in search options is grayed out.

Both:

• Reinstalling Firefox did not work.

I have no idea what to do at this point.

Whenever I visit Gmail on my desktop PC using Firefox under Windows 10, I get an annoying pop-up message asking me to 'Switch to the helpful Chrome browser' (see attached image capture). Is there a way to block this? I have tried a few suggestions found on forums but nothing works. uBlockOrigin doesn't help.

I had numerous lockup issues with Firefox. Win 10 64bit. I refreshed it and that problem went away. But, when I download Adblock Plus and 404 bookmarks no icon appears for them, either on the toolbar or when I try to customize the toolbar. It acts as if they are already there, but they are not. The previous installation had no such issues. So...help is needed. There are sites where I need to turn off the Adblock to use helpful popups.

I have been using Firefox for years and am running 111.0.1. I also use only Yahoo email. Today I was attempting to send an email with several attachments about kept getting different error messages that kept me from completing the task. Of course, I was blaming Yahoo not being able to handle it but.....just for the heck of it I opened Microsoft Edge, logged into my email......and proceeded to send the email with no problems, delays or error messages. Is Firefox not able to handle some things? I don't think I should have to go to another browser just to send an email!

WTF?! You guys do not even have a technical support category?!?!??!

The latest update has broken ebay.com.au. It works fine in private mode. It WILL NOT WORK in troubleshooting mode. Works fine in other browsers on the same Windows 10 PC. Ive also tried disabling addons and extensions, and even Pocket, as well as browsing protection (the shield icon). It just sits there saying "transferring data from ".... the next bit varies, but usually says ebay.com.au, or sometimes a different page, but it NEVER COMPLETES.

I get that it might have trouble with unusual code, but WTF is with firefox not working with EBAY?!

The little image shown will appear and float on the left bottom of pages I open including secure pages that require me to log in to enter. That little stick man I consider a security threat and have tried to get rid of it to no avail.

The picture I captured of it was when it was on blue background. If on white background, just the circle with the stick man in it.

How can I delete it?

Hi,

does anyone know what to do to make the background of the bookmarks icon and the reload icon the same as the icon with the site connection lock? I've exhausted all options in the userChrome.css and cant get the background to change. It's in hover state.

For reference I've added a couple of images, the first how the background is and the second how I would like it to look. I'm on macOS and latest Firefox 111.

I'm having trouble with the internet on the desk top which is not working so i opened my lap top. Every 30 seconds Firefox message box pops up asking to open, why? i don't have the WiFi working until next month sometime.
