This app has no properties and it is being applied to a deleted desktop, I have bought three computers in the last six month and I returned them all because of Edge and google so i want hesitate to return this one also. I spend all om time trying to download apps. That do not work properly. I have no browser tools so I have no home icon or no other icons.

Restore gadget screen width to default 1/3 of screen, not 1/2. Gadgets are now too wide for easy reading, they were always 1/3 of the screen until recently. Did I inadvertently make that change, or was it part of some update?

This issue is happening with every newly installed add-on, but not with add-ons installed on or before Aug 3, 2024. The add-ons are installed via addons.mozilla.org. To rule out the possibility that it's happening only with specific add-ons, I also installed one of the random recommendations on that page, Augmented Steam which has 54,248 users, and it happens with that one as well.

I'll click Enable, but the prompt appears every time I restart Firefox.

What I've tried (with a restart after each attempt):

• Clear the startup cache
• Delete extensions.json
• Delete compatibility.ini
• Via about:config deleted extensions.databaseSchema and extensions.getAddons.databaseSchema
• Excluded Add-ons from syncing

I've noticed the following in extensions.json for each of the recent add-ons after restart:

• syncGUID changes to presumably random new value
• active changes from true to false
• userDisabled changes from false to true
• seen changes from true to false

Recently I cleared my Firefox browser history. After doing that, I can no longer sign into Amazon.com website. What am I doing wrong? Here is the message I'm getting:

Today, Firefox stopped playing audio on Facebook videos and won't play Netflix videos at all (Netflix error code: F7701-1003). Youtube works fine and has audio, but several other video sites I've tried have video but no audio. It was all working fine yesterday and I haven't changed any settings.

These websites work fine with both audio and sound on Microsoft Edge on the same laptop, so this is a problem exclusive to Firefox. OS is Windows 11 Home 23H2, Firefox is latest version (129.0.2)

Things I've tried: 1. Refresh Firefox settings 2. Download and install fresh copy of Firefox 3. Toggle DRM content in setting on/off - no difference no matter what is selected 4. Ensure that 'remember history' is selected 5. Check for Windows updates 6. Uninstall audio driver, restart and fresh install of audio driver 7. Ensure it's not in private mode 8. Turn off all extensions 9. Check volume mixer allows sound for Firefox 10. Clear the cache and cookies

I can't find any more suggestions on the internet, so any further suggestions welcome!

Videos from S3 buckets directly downloading from firefox browser instead of open in browser itself. Is there any changes to be done in AWS account or it is an issue with new release?

on X11 it does not seem to be possible to copy gifs from firefox.

When copying a gif the "TARGETS" conversion only gives the following atoms:

When trying to convert to "image/gif" the conversion fails. (I am requesting conversion from the CLIPBOARD atom)

I have the usual ads appearing in gmail, but when I click on them they do not appear. I have checked that Javascript is enabled, and the default cookies are active.

I've chosen Tips and tricks, hopefully it means this will be an article/explanation instead of a question. I had the opposite problem to PDF files should not download, only open in browser and was happy to find out in the OP attachment that the action for each file-types could be changed. I didn't want my bandwidth strain of having to download PDF twice anymore (especially ones with many images).

Hello! When entering some (in tis case financial: https://www.nordnet.se/se) sites the time shown are exactly 2hours behind the system time. If system time is 11:15 (correct time zone in Sweden) the time shown on the site is 09:15. This is probably something that has to do with an update of Firefox. I have automatic update to Firefox but the problem has been there for some months although I have not been able to recognice it until the recent week. I have tried a "clean" new install of Firefox to a new directory with no import of bookmarks or anything but the problem is exactly the same. For your information I have tried a clean install of Duckduckgo browser which do not suffer this problem. But I want to keep with Firefox which I have used since at least 15years. I guess there is a "timestamp" or samething that have gone wrong, but should be easy to correct if you just know where to look. Best regards /Gunnar

bold textdownloading only produces " .part " files in my downloads directory. I had previously attempted a large file download but error message said it was not completed. Now cannot download anything
