I'm having problems using Firefox in general. No websites will load properly except for the Firefox support site. It's not an internet issue because everything works fine when I use Google Chrome (I'm typing this from Chrome). I tried deleting my history and clearing caches/cookies but that didn't fix anything. I've included some screenshots of what I'm dealing with below.

My devices accounts for s.ramos217@gmail.com have been hacked by a remote user I can still barely login to Gmail but I can't seem to shake the tracker or whatever it is it has destroyed devices files and all online accounts related to that account including Firefox

Hi My PC recently died and I am now trying to setup a new one. Firefox is fine but Thunderbird won't accept my password. I also had a Mozilla support login which I am using to send this message.

I have been using your programs for many years ans wish to continue. How can I get my correct TB password?

Sooo frustrated... wrote this back in 2019: I can't believe this is still a problem, I am upgrading to a new laptop and so have to go through setting google.co.uk to be my default search engine - again!? - but I can't seem to make it happen. Can someone please give me the steps again. and can someone explain why it isn't possible to just choose google.co.uk to be the default - there's a whole world out there that isn't in the .com space

surprise surprise it is still a problem and the resolution provided by jscher2000 - Support Volunteer has been moved/removed:

Add-ons site, for example: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/googleuk/ (this one gets UK suggestions, the other three I checked get .com suggestions, if suggestions matter)

I find the mycroft solution doesn't help.

can anyone help with the addon required please? and a plea to make google.co.uk available as a choice please!

I use Firefox as my primary browser for several reasons, but the main one is because it has the best Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature. However, I no longer use Windows and have encountered problems with it on various Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian...). Currently, I'm only using Fedora 40, and the problem persists.

The issue is that when I click on the PiP icon, it activates normally, but when I switch windows or minimize and then maximize Firefox again, the video disappears.

I will attach some screenshots to clarify the issue.

I would like to know if there is any way to resolve this. I’ve already reset the settings, cleared the cache, and tested different installation methods (software store, .tar.bz file, apt, dnf, snap). I’ve tried troubleshooting mode and even installed the Developer Edition, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if this is an issue with the Linux version of Firefox.

I realize Facebook doesn't have a spell check feature,but is there a way my browser, Firefox, which I already have spell check enabled can somehow spell check Facebook when I chat? Can someone help? Thank you.

Hanging up trying to open Yahoo / AT&T email - other things like pulling up AOL News only getting part way there. AND this is the second time I've entered this today, 07/31/2024 but the first one disappeared.

In seeing other answers to this dilemma it presents another problem. I do use sync. But what troubles me is IF I need to give out the password for someone to use the internet that person now has access to my passwords. Since there seems no way, unless I shutoff sync. Is this correct? Should there be some Secondary password? Passwordpasswordpasswordpasswordetc.

Every time I go to settings and try to login to my account it just says 'mozilla' w the logo and won't pull up the login page. I've waited, reloaded, changed to desktop site, and so on.

I have a working account on a pc (which I no longer own or I would just do the QR code) and recently switched phones where on the previous phone I was using Firefox signed in with no issues.

For some reason I was able to sign in on this page but it didn't transfer browserwide or start working when I tried to sign in again. I need my bookmarks and passwords please help! (I'm using Android 12 on a Kyocera Duraforce Ultra)

I updated from TB 115 to TB 128. My list of folders in the Folder pane is now "longer" and has a scroll bar. It used to all fit. It looks like the spacing between folder entries has increased. Is there any way to decrease it? Nothing obvious in settings. Can it be changed in about:config or a userChrome.css file? I had to do something similar with Firefox's Bookmarks list.

Diappointed with the color accenting in Windows. I only seem to be able to see a customized reply arrow, and a small dot in the 'From' line. In the screenshots on your introductory page the background of the card is accented and bordered. Is this only for Linux, or will it work in Windows 11 also? If so, where can this be set?

I actually prefer the line view rather than the cards in the Inbox pane, and would also like the color accent to be applied to the current selection highlight/background. Here for example (see screenshot) I would like the purple color (you can see it in the reply arrow) to be applied also to the background highlight of the middle email, where it is currently dark grey.

Ever since the Airport computers got their Blue Screen of Death, I have been getting continuous Pop Up from https://tsdtocl.com/. It is only occurring on my Yahoo.com email account currently. This Pop Up has stopped downloads from my Yahoo emails showing "pop.mail.yahoo.com" could not connect. I see no email associated with the Pop Up in Thunderbird. The Pop Up is asking for me to Sign In using my Yahoo account. I expect a Scam since the Pop Up will reappear when closed. Any suggestions to get rid of this Pop Up?

New W11 computer. checked "always ask where to save files". Restarted Firefox. It's still automatically dumping downloads in Downloads rather than asking.

When I add text to a PDF file, sometimes it's left aligned and sometimes centered, so I think I might have changed the alignment accidentally.

Does this mean Mozilla Firefox sees the https://consent.cookiebot.com cookie as a third party tracking cookie that needs to be blocked as nobody gave consent to load the cookiebot consent popup?

Question 1: Is according to Mozilla Firefox https://consent.cookiebot.com a third party tracking cookie that needs to be blocked if you as a user want to have guarantees over your privacy online?

Question 2: Is it not strange to see Firefox blocking a widely used cookie consent system to protect users by giving consent to select which cookies will be set yes/no?

Hello again! I asked this question a few weeks ago--and low and behold, the next day, my sent mails were being copied to my "sent" folder. But several never appeared. Now this is happening again--sent mails are not being copied to the "Sent" folder although I have that checked in setting--and it's very annoying! I see a small arrow to the left of a message I answered, but it's very important for me to have a record of all my correspondence. And without the copy I feel unsure that it was actually sent? Why is this happening? What should I do to get my sent emails copied to my "sent" folder ?? Thanks. Best, Nancy
