Good morning - I wanted to set up two-factor authentication with your browser for security reasons. A code comes up that one uses with one's phone. I connected with it, but I couldn't finish setting up the 2FA. Here's the problem: My Samsung Note 20 Ultra has fingerprint scanning on the screen. Since I bought it, I tried using the fingerprint feature, but it is a beast to get my prints scanned and then it can hardly ever scan my print successfully. So I gave up using fingerprints altogether. So I scan your code, and it wants me to do the whole fingerprinting thing with my phone in order to set it up. It doesn't give me the option to use the security that I did choose to use with my phone. Please advise how I can get 2FA without doing all of this. Thanks. Ritva

Just recently I have noticed that the Closed Caption is way out of sync when streaming Prime movies on my PC. CC works fine in Edge, but not Firefox. Looking for some things to try to fix this.

I was having issues playing videos. All I would get was a black screen, but I could hear the audio. Although some videos, like facebook shorts, played just fine. And I could view videos in other browsers. Tried several things I saw suggested on threads having the same issues, but ultimately I uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled it and it seemed to have fixed the issue. Hopefully this helps others having the same issue. I tried to suggest it on a few of those threads but they were locked.

I use Firefox daily, and I use Sync to save my profile.

Today I had to reinstall Windows for some reason, therefore I had to reinstall Firefox entirely. The profile files were lost in the process, and when I connected with Sync, Firefox installed all the extensions I had before, but it didn't fetch the bookmarks. Like many people, I have hundreds of links in my bookmarks, and I'd like to get them back. Profile files are not here, and Sync couldn't find them? Is there a place where I can see all previous Sync saves so that I can get an old backup (even if it's a backup from days or weeks ago)?

I have few sites that pop up in autosuggestion every time I type an letter (for example when I type "i" i got autosuggestion for "imgur.com"). I want to delete these entries as they clutter my search bar. I already deleted search history with all boxes marked as checked, I used shift+delete option and every time it comes back. I want to completly delete all autosuggestion data or find a solution to delete only these I want to delete.

I still want to have autosuggestion turned on. I just want to reset it and erase it completly. I reinstalled the browser but it didn't work either.

When I try to access my Etrade account the connection fails. Sometimes I can reach the log in page but cannot log on, Usually, I can't even access ETrade. I can log on using Microsoft Edge but not with Mozzilla,

The YouTube videos load in troubleshoot mode, so I reopened Firefox and disabled all extensions. That did not help, so I uninstall all extensions. That does not work either. Other browsers work, but Firefox does not.

All my bookmarks disappeared. I followed the instructions on the "help" pages. I went to the list of my profiles and went through each one, trying to restore bookmarks from each profile. But all of my profiles are from 2019; no more recent profiles are listed. Thanks in advance for any advice

when i go to Facebook i continue to get network errs and also in Facebook I keep getting something went wrong reload the page. I have disabled and deleted some add ons an even tried in trouble shoot mode and still i get it. I have tried every thing i know how even refreshed Firefox. I do not get it in Chrome and it has much of the same add ons or extensions. I tried to send a report to Facebook but you know how that goes.It is getting annoying Not sure if it Facebook and Firefox or just Facebook . But if ti is not happening in Chrome or edge that leads me to come to the conclusion it is Firefox

I have Firefox set up to basically clear itself of all history, cookies, data, etc. each time it closes. As a result this means I need to log into my password manager each time I open a new Firefox session, rather than every 72 hours which is the setting I have put in the password manager itself. I know how to make exceptions for websites, but it's making an exception for an extension that is confusing me. Any help is appreciated!

Have not been able to log on to a few sites (all financial base: bank etc) since approx April 2023 Have done all the dirty dozen: cache/update FF/reset/ disabled ad blocks etc.) and still no luck: had to revert back (after about 10 years) to safari (ugh) scoured back in archives for similar problems but found no answer. Does anyone have any idea? (i have not upgraded my mac os 10.14.06 and require itunes to remain) Thanks

I'm having trouble bookmarking individual item page at Lowes.com. Hoping someone can help me with this problem. I "used" to be able to save an individual item page I want research later from Lowe's in my Bookmarks. When I go to access it later I get this message:

However I can save the whole page showing “all” the items with no problems. This happens on both Macs, 2 different OS. I have deleted cookies, cache, history continually and nothing works. It happens in Safe Mode as well, I even refreshed FireFox and it still happens. It happens in Safari also.

So I ask myself why "now" is this happening when it never did before? Is there a setting I need to look at? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Dzień dobry, nie mogę uruchomić uwierzytelniania dwuetapowego, za pomocą aplikacji Google Authenticator. po zeskanowaniu kodu QR i utworzeniu konta Firefox w aplikacji podane kody są odrzucane przez system. My preferred languages are set to: en-us, en, ja My preferred fonts for Japanese are set to: proportional: Sans Serif, Serif: IPA 明朝, Sans Serif: IPA ゴシック For web pages that set the language to Japanese (using lang="ja" or similar), the correct (Japanese) font is selected. However, for web pages that do not indicate the language, Firefox selects a Chinese font, ignoring my preferred language and fonts.
