Managing policies on Linux desktops

This article is intended for IT administrators who wish to set up Firefox on the computers within their organization.

You can use policies to change Firefox's settings for users in your organization.

Applying policies on Linux

  1. Create a file called policies.json with your policies.
  2. Place this file in firefox/distribution where "firefox" is the installation directory for Firefox. (This will vary per distribution).
