How can I get Firefox 26 to install on my computer. Because it won't.
I used to have Firefox 25. I tried to upgrade to version 26, but after I downloaded it and selected launch it went to a screen that said install. I selected that and then it went to a screen that had download on one side and install on the other. When I selected that it started downloading again. The green bar went almost to the end and then stopped. Then the green bar started moving quickly across the bar. After ten plus minutes it said it had been interrupted and I had to start again.it started. After several tries, I removed Firefox 25 from my computer and downloaded version 26. When I tried to install it I got the same runaround I mentioned above. What gives? I have never had this much trouble installing any software ever including version 25. I would like a timely response because I like Firefox and Hate Internet Explorer. Thanks. Ps, since you don't have a phone number a chat experience would work as well. Arthur

hello, please see if it is working correctly with the full installer instead that can be obtained from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Philipp, When I down load from the main site you sent me to and try to launch it a box comes up that says the file is corrupt. I tried it twice, same result. Thanks, Art

hello, sorry but the address used to send out email notifications by this forum cannot receive or forward any mails, so i didn't got that. please make sure that the picture is saved as jpeg or png file format to compress its size, or else try it with a filehoster like http://tinypic.com/ and just post the link here
It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is interfering otherwise.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
