I presume you have Firefox installed. If so, see if it is in the Start Menu. Drag the icon to the Desktop and you will be offered the option to create a desktop link.

If it is not in the Start Menu, look in the All Programs list accessible below the Start Menu. A click will offer the option to pin to the Start Menu and then proceed as above.

You can access Firefox from either the Start Menu or All Programs.

To obtain the Firefox version - Help>About Firefox, or

Options>Advanced>Update>Show Update History.

Above are instructions for Firefox(Start) icon on the Desktop.

Perhaps you mean the orange Firefox button which is usually in the the top left hand corner when you open the browser. Right click on toolbar space at the top of the screen and uncheck the Menu Bar - this will reveal the icon. You can toggle back and forth.

Feedback, please.
