I have place bookmarks from chrome in a html file but firefox is not importing them.

I have followed the procedure to import bookmarks from chrome as outlined by firefox but firefox is not importing the html file. I get to the last stage of the procedure and it just does not work. Can you suggest something. Thanks, Dan

These are the directions I followed...several times. This is what is not working. I get to that final step, importing to firefox, and the bookmarks are not imported. It defies logic, it's supposed to work but it doesn't.
