- open bank site log in. I check my bank balances etc
-Now finished with looking at my bank account. a box on the bank page that says "log out". I click to get out of my account.
- After logging out, brought back to my bank home page.
- some sites have X box at end their site address at the top of the screen. click on the X box and the site disappears, I returned to an open site
- look for X box at my bank home page to leave site, there is no X box
- I have to click on the red x box in the blue line at the very top on my page.
This logs me out of everything and I go back to my desk top.
This happens on some websites and not others.

Try to close the tab with a double click on that tab or via Ctrl+W.
If you use the close X on the title bar then you close the current Firefox window with all open tabs.
