Spent the last hour trying to download adobe flash player upgrade withing FF. uninstalled adobe 9 as per directions. the instructions for downloading in FF says to click on the yellow bar with the "options edit" box and then open it to allow the downloading and installation of flash 10. I cannot find this "options edit" tab any where. I have NOOOO flash player on my computer and can't even download flash 9. I haven't even gotten to the installation part.

The instructions on the Adobe site are outdated and do no longer apply to current Firefox versions and you can ignore those instructions and save the Adobe installer to your desktop and start the installation with a double-click on that file.

Thanks Cor-el. If you can help me with another part of this problem. I click on the download tab for Adobe Flash player, and then nothing happens. I don't even get to save the installer to my desktop, because it doesn't even show up. Any suggestions? Thanks

I am supposed to click on ALLOW, but it doesn't exist. Then there was a message which gave an option to down load the adobe plugin but not the Adobe DLM. What is that? And , why would I NOT want to download that?
