I have multiple accounts set up in Thunderbird. I encountered this problem when I accidentally archived an email. I went to the archive folder for that account, found the email, right-clicked it and selected 'Move to "Inbox" Again'. However the email was moved to an inbox of a different account than it originally belonged to.

The command on the menu is to repeat the last move, be it in this account or another. So you chose to move to inbox again and the last move to inbox was the inbox for another account. So the move is to thgis other inbox. I do not see the issue.

I understand now, thank you. Personally I find the phrasing of the command confusing. It would be clearer to me if it was called "Repeat last move (move to Inbox again)" for example, and it would be clearer if it would specify which account the folder belongs to, such as "Inbox (account 1)".
