For the past few weeks, Firefox has started crashing when logging into various websites. I've updated Firefox, cleared cookies etc, reinstalled Firefox, opened it in Troubleshooting mode, updated my OS, disabled extensions... everything I can think of. After some sleuthing, it seems to only happen when trying to log into a website. Doesn't happen on every site, which is weird.

This is so frustrating, please help!

Well hey, that fixed it! Who would have thought a camera thing would effect my browser's ability to log into a website.

I deleted: /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/RelayCam.plugin

It wasn't enough to just rename the file, I had to delete it. Thanks so much for your help!

Reset Firefox it can help fix various issues. It will restore Firefox to its default settings while preserving your bookmarks, history, passwords, and open tabs. To reset Firefox, go to its settings, select the General section, scroll down to the Firefox Updates section, and click on "Refresh Firefox."

Thanks all!

@Refresh: I think I tried that too, but it seems to no longer be in the settings? Not under updates and nothing shows up from a search.

@Crash reports: I have lots of those! Here's a few...

That looks familiar!

You can check this question for an issue with the RelayCam plugin.
