Can't recover Thunderbird after a crash.
My hard drive had to be replaced and now I cannot recover my Thunderbird Email. Keeps asking for a password but won't accept it. Asks for password for "mobile.charter.net" I think I have totally screwed up all the settings in trying to find a solution. I checked with my internet provider but no help. Could someone please help a very senior and very frustrated Granny? Thanks in advance.

The password for charter would be your email password. From your post, it seems you have successfully installed Thunderbird and set up your account and are lacking the password. True?
