So like the title says, I have one account, usernames are the same but somehow passwords aren't.

Example : email : test@test.com username : test (POP3) password : test1 (SMTP) password : Test1

So how can I setup this account ? I managed to solve this few years ago but I can't remember now.

Your example shows the same password. Don't confuse user name with password. For many (most) ISPs, the user name is the email id.

David, one of the passwords starts with uppercase T.

@moto.taras, you can do it in two ways:

1. When adding the account to Thunderbird, omit the password and click Done. When Tbird connects to the incoming server when getting messages, it will prompt for the password. Enter the right one at that time. Next, compose a test message and send it. You will get another prompt for the outgoing server. Enter it at that time and you're done.

2. When adding the account, enter the incoming password in the password field. When account setup is finished and Tbird is fetching messages, go to Saved Logins in Preferences and change the outgoing one to the correct one.
