My domain host suggested switching from Outlook to Thunderbird as he says Thunderbird is more stable. But I have lots of folders with e-mails in them, and lots of contacts. How do I migrate all of that over to Thunderbird?

The first method I'd try is to run the Import wizard in TB 60b6 installed on the same computer as the one with Outlook. That should import the mail, and maybe the contacts. If not the latter, the best way to transfer contacts is to save them from Outlook as vCards and import to TB with an add-on.

This mostly helped. But in importing the Outlook files, it pulled in layers and layers of folders, so I've had to make new folders, transfer info into them, an just hope I did it right and didn't lose anything. Hard to tell. Some of the folders wouldn't delete, so I'm just trying to ignore them.
