Is there a list of extensions that Mozilla has broken/banned in the latest versions of Firefox? Alternately is there a list of those that Mozilla still allows to work with Firefox?

I've seen reports that Mozilla is working toward a closed browser that won't allow add-ons; I pray they are false reports.

hi, these are the extensions that are compatible with current browser versions: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/search/?sort=users&tag=firefox57&type=extension

reports about firefox getting turned into a "closed" browser and disallowing addons will have little to no relation to reality...

What do you mean with broken? Legacy extensions that do not have a WebExtension replacement won't work in current Firefox releases.

You seem to be using the Firefox 52 ESR version. That version still support Legacy extensions that no longer are supported in current Firefox releases. Some Legacy extensions have a WebExtension variant that may not have all features that the legacy extension has. You will have to search the Add-ons website to see what extensions are available.

Thank you, philipp & cor-el for your replies.

OK, I see that the 1Password extension doesn't work in FF57; that is the most important one I use so it means I can't use FF57.
