Thank you for your questions, yes Mozilla is aware of the issue and is working on a fix to go out in an update as soon as possible.

Till then you could consider to disable JavaScript   (and enable it when needed) See:

As Happy112 points out, Firefox 50.0.2 directly addresses the bug which leads to the potential exploit.
