firefox has been crashing for several weeks now. I have done a firefox refresh, tried running in safe mode. content does not seem to matter. firefox will usually crashes in about 1/2 hour, after 3,4 crashes I have to reboot Ubuntu (I thought I got away from windoz) sometimes I was running a Facebook game when it crashed, and the last page of the game, will be in place of my desktop, like the video card did not redraw the desktop.

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

I have just upgraded to 14.0.1 from 14.0.0 from Ubuntu repositories. lets see if that fixes it.

I have installed debug for Firefox but do not know how to use it or what to look for in results.

Did you try to remove/disable these involved extensions?

You can check for issues caused by plugins.

• set plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the about:addons page ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Plugins)
• plugins are not affected by Firefox Safe Mode

All extensions/addons/plugins disabled except No-script, shockwave flash.

Seems to be doing better.
