I accidentally deleted a bigger number of mails from my inbox. (accidentally means: selected a few and hit "Shift-Del", but as the computer lagged a bit at that moment, the selection was/became bigger than on first view and when hitting "Shift-Del")

I found an AddOn for older Thunderbirds "RecoverDeletedMessages" but that doesn't work for 91.6.

Is it possible to -without professional comercial recovery assistance- to recover the Inbox from two days ago?

Thanks for your help!

Additional infos: - no backup done before that accident - no copies of these mails on mailserver as "delete from server when deleted from Inbox" is selected

Some ISPs have restore capabilities to do that, at least back a week or so. Software that recovers from PC may help, but after several days, there may be corruption and the messages will probably not be intact, but files with readable pieces. A commercial facility may be your only option.
