Any addon I use to open a tab with Google Chat, Keep, Calendar or Messages results in opening the Google Account Help page. Including apps that let you add links to Spaces. If I click the sign in button it just reloads the page. I have zero issues signing into those in my browser.

Either G-Hub pro or a ton of other addons did this fine and now don't.

Have you contacted the addon authors? or looked at their support/issues lists. Most are on github.

I looked at this g-hub pro, because it is the only one you mentioned. I don't see your issue listed. https://www.schiffner.com/software/g-hub-pro/known-issues/

But I do have to wonder if you perhaps have cookies disabled and now require them. Most of the issues we see regarding oauth authentication resolve to VPN's, cookies and other applications monitoring the localhost ports used to authenticate.

The automatic conversion of gmail accounts to oauth authentication threw up some common issues. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/automatic-conversion-google-mail-accounts-oauth20

Please provide more information on why this is a Thunderbird issue. Google is known to use popups for verification. Maybe I'm missing something here. Thank you.

Because it's only happening in Google tabs I open in Thunderbird mail program?

Like David, I am confused. Thunderbird is a mail program, not a web browser, despite those functions existing in the program.

So I am Zeroing in on your statement "Any addon I use to open a tab with Google Chat, Keep, Calendar or Messages" What addons? Have you asked the authors about your issue? Why would you be wanting to open a google tab with messages anyway? Thunderbird handles IMAP natively and the same goes for calendar and chat.

It's convenient to have Google Chat and Keep up? I set a lot of reminders in Keep so having it on a tab instead having a webpage open is convenient.

The Thunderbird calendar is not my google calendar, same with messages/chat.... did I miss where I could set that up which is why this doesn't make sense?

Ok I googled the calender thing now, so that is setup so I guess I don't need that. But I can't find any way to use Keep, Chat or Messages. I could with the last stable version by use of addons. Those no longer work when they used to before the update. Either G-Hub pro or a ton of other addons did this fine and now don't.

For reasons I may never understand copying the profile off my laptop (which came from this computer...) fixed the issue. I also updated the OAuth settings, thank you for your help.
