I have tried everything, I have version 31.5.0 it says im up to date. I'm using a gmail account I have it set to [x] Leave Messages On server [x] until I delete them but it deletes the messages, as soon as it downloads them. no matter what I check, or uncheck. I have the google calendar tab addon Im using the dark theme I'm using lightning add on also

I had trouble attaching the images that I thought would help you - I've placed them in a shared folder on my google drive; https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8RJJ-LOVCKTeUNkLUp6REJqLTQ&usp=sharing

any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help.

Your link gives me "shared_public Empty folder"

That option in settings only appears in POP-connected accounts. I haven't used gmail with POP for some time, but given the quirkiness of their IMAP implementation, I wouldn't be surprised to find its POP system had some tricks up its sleeve.

Can your messages be found in gmail's All Mail folder?
