I currently use Thunderbird 32 bit and have many emails & addresses stored + I use the Calendar. I just got a new laptop & found a major problem. I cant install Thunderbird 32 bit - only the 64 bit version and I can't find a way to transfer all my info (eg the profile). What can I do?

Are you using windows? If you use the default setup, this should work: - exit thunderbird32 - copy c:\users\<yourid>\appdata\roaming\thunderbird to external media - uninstall thunderbird32, but leave data - install thunderbird64 - if profile is there, you're good. if not, exit thunerbird and then

copy the thunderbird folder you copied to c:\users\<yourid>\appdata\roaming
