All address books have disappeared; I have backups of mac hard drive, where can I find the address books?

Using MacBookAir. Replaced Tbird app with month-old one from backup drive, but no change. Tried safe starts to no avail. If I knew where address books were stored, I could find them in backup drive, which copies entire hard drive.

Your reply allowed me to find the profile folder and see there were non-zero address books, two of them. But, the applikcation doesn't seem able to recognize them. I had run disk repair, and the window reported corrupted disk. Perhaps this is the source of the problem. Is there any way I can get the app to recognize the profile folder with the address books? I updated to the latest version of Tbird. Thanks.
