I have been using Aurora for a long time now with no real problems however yesterday it crashed and crashed and crashed. I did everything I can think of right back to restoring the computer to an earlier time and its still crashing. Firefox works fine as does Chrome and Opera but Aurora is no more. I have now removed the programme and before I download again would like some info on why this may be happening.

The programme comes up and then crashes immediately.

I run vipr and malware

Greetings Susan44

I would recommend testing your version of Firefox in safe mode to see if it's any add-ons or extensions that's affecting your browser.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

If it still crashes, then I would attempt to reset Firefox via the menu bar.

Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox...

Give those a whirl and see if there are any results; otherwise, one of the more experienced members may be able to help you. Thanks! = )

Thank you for your reply, I tried everything I could think of and think its something in Aurora, my add ons have been there for ever and I do not use very many at all. I have now removed the programme and using Firefox and its working fine just want to know why Aurora has gone awry

This is a bug in the Aurora build about using the new cache. This bug has been fixed and the next day's (Monday) update should work better.
