Hotmail speller function does not work properly

more options

When I mistype a word in hotmail and backspace to fix it, the portion that I retype is considered misspelled. For example, if I mistype the word "example" as "examole", when I backspace to correct it, hotmail tells me that the portion I correct, in this case "ple" is misspelled. It does not seem to recognize the entire word, but only that portion that I retype.
