I just installed Thunder and imported about 10.000 mails. I would like to add all of the e-mail adresses to my adress book in one go. Is this possible and how?

Tunderbird fails to open at a early stage (loading the default inbox) and is then unresponsive. How can I extract messages, pesumably from the profile, please. Widows 11.

Thunderbird currently automatically collects email on start-up. I would like it to collect email only when I request it, not automatically. Is there a setting for that? Thanks for your help.

Hello. When creating a filter, add the ability to create a folder if it was not created in advance. Because if you forgot to create a folder in advance during the creation of the filter, then you need to cancel all filter settings, go create a folder and only then re-create the filter for letters

Unable to receive/send emails using my email account (janet.eaton@live.com). Keep getting "login to server imap-mail.outlook.com" with my username failed. I'm able to receive/send emails on iPad and iPhone but not on Windows laptop. This started on July 26th. I also have an outlook account that I don't use...I use the mozilla thunderbird program to manage/organize all emails. Where do I go from here? Hi, I am closing down an old email address because they are now charging me for it. I was advised to use Thunderbird so I signed up and am now receiving emails to thunderbird from my xtra.co.nz email address. However, it hasn't brought over my saved folders from my xtra.co.nz app. Someone suggested I need to change to imap, but do not know where to find this and not sure if I do it in Thunderbird or the xtra mail app or both. Looking for instructions on on how I can bring my existing folders from my xtra.co.nz mail into Thunderbird?

I use Thunderbird on my iMac Sonoma 14.6 with the M1-Chip I mistyped an adress while writing an E-Mail and sent the Mail. Returned realized the Mistake and corrected the adress. ›ow, every time I want to write a Mail to the recepient I am offered both adresses. I Allready deleted the wrong spelling from my Contacts-App, but still ... I tried "search adress", but there I do find only the correct one.

What can I do to delete the adress I don't want to confuse me any longer? Thank you for your help!

Hi, am getting this error and am unable to use our new PC as this Thunderbird mail app is failing to migrate the profile from the other windows PC. Need your help asap on how to fix this. Not very technical, so need help. I updated Thunderbird to the latest version (115.11.0 32 bit) on my old PC before copying the profile over and loading Thunderbird on this new PC which has 115.11.0 64 bit version.

Is there a setting that allows me to exclude all this? I cannot recognize any kind of setting in "Settings" or "Account Settings" that allows me to control this issue. Best regards, Rudi Abel

Curious if there is a way to turn off email notifications for only some email accounts logged into Thunderbird. We have several different email accounts we monitor with my business, and we don't require a notification for all of them & would love if there was a way to select which accounts you want live notifications for. I am using Thunderbird (ver. 128.1.0esr) as my email client. I have two Internet Service providers: Xfinity(Comcast) and AT&T. I can't send emails when using AT&T but can when using Xfinity. Can receive emails OK on both. Why is this?

I'm using Thunderbird version 115.12.2 on Mac Sonoma 14.5. Every once and a while, when Thunderbird crashes (unfortunately frequent, because of the numbers of folders and emails), my unified folder suddenly contains *all* of my folders, rather than just the 2 inboxes from my 2 different accounts, which is what I want and what I set up when I configured unified.

When I go into properties --> "select the folders to search" it allows me to uncheck 1 folder at a time. BUT I have 1,931 folders !

Is there a way to uncheck all folders in "select the folders to search" and then I can just check inbox in each of my 2 accounts?

Potrzebuje czasem znalesc wydażenie które mineło juz 2-3 mc temu i szybka wyszukwarka go nie znajduje. Wasza konkurencja Outlook bez problemu wyszukuje we wszystkich wydarzeniach. Czy jest możliwość wyszukiwania we wszystkich lub moze jest jakaś wtyczka?

Apart from my main email address, I also have a Gmail address. Recently I stopped receiving and cannot send any emails from that gmail address. I keep receiving a pop-up window every10 minutes asking me to update my gmail parameters. The links given in that pop-up window lead nowhere. I followed instructions given in "Automatic conversion of Google mail accounts to Oauth 2.0 authentication" but the problem subsists. I am trying to attach a screenprint of the pop-up window but can't upload the .PDF. Please help, thanks

Hello, I recently replaced my old PC with new desktop running WIN 11. Although I am able to receive Outlook email. However, when I attempt to send mail from my Outlook address I receive an error message: "Unable to authenticate Outgoing server smtp.office365.com..." The smtp settings are attached. Firewall - Windows firewall Antivirus - MS Defender Antivirus OS - Win 11 v 23H2 Thunderbird - 129.0.1
