My wife and I have used cox.net email accounts for a number of years. Just recently Cox.net moved their email accounts to yahoo.com. We've had our cox.net email accounts on Thunderbird for years, but now it doesn't get our emails because of the transfer to yahoo.com. We don't like yahoo. Is there any possible way to get our cox emails from yahoo to Thunderbird? (our email accounts didn't change).

I've been using TB for years. I don't mind using google calendar, but contacts? This window has been popping up today for no apparent reason. If I dismiss it, it comes back in a few minutes. It seems to be a TB process. I'm on Windows 7. I do have W10 & 11 on laptops, haven't checked yet to see whether this nastiness occurs on them.

Help! My computer was stolen or lost in a recent move. I cannot remember my passwords because I had them all stored on Dashlane. Both Thunderbird and Dashlane (and every other site I need to access) sends a verification to my email that I cannot access. I truly had everything in my life on this computer so I cannot access my bank accounts or credit cards either. There does not seem to be anyway to speak to a person because it's a little confusing. I keep going in circles trying to rectify this situation. Although it sounds like it could be a scam, trust me it is not. I have used Thunderbird for many years.

I see that I can check "email me when someone answers the thread. Unfortunately it puts me in the same position - someone will email the address I can't access. I have a new address, bradlang8919@gmail.com if someone could send the answer there.

Just changed password in my att email account, but lost Thunderbird as default way to show my emails. It asks me for a password and I have no idea what it is since I never had to use one to get into Thunderbird...it just straight to emails when I hit the Thunderbird icon. Help?

Thunderbird 115.10.1 If I receive an email in which the sender has added comments in red text, the text only shows as black despite View-Message body As-Original HTML being selected. I've tried selecting Plain Text and switching back, but no change. Is this a bug, or is there anything else I need to select? Thanks. Kevin

I am no longer able to send/receive messages in Thunderbird. Sending of password failed and login failed. I tried changing my password, but that did not help. This happened on 6/16/24 in the evening.

Recently for no apparent reason I'm not receiving any emails to my email accounts. This happened about 2 weeks ago, after some clicking I was ask to authorize some form and this resolved the difficulty. However it has now returned with a vengeance and none of my accounts are receiving any emails. I have not made any alteration or tampered with any account settings. Yesterday the emial system was operating perfectly but today absolutely nothing only the emails received yesterday are showing. All I get is a notice advising that whatever email address I click on "connected to emap@ gmail.com" or what other incomming connecting is used. My FireFox was updated about 2 hours ago whilst trying to open my emails. Can someone help or do I close the account ?

I Can't send or receive emails from Thunderbird, over 24 hours now. I get error message above and repeated requests to log on with my passwords, but my password doesn't work. I log onto and go to my AOL server to see my emails.

For the last week or so, I haven't been able to sync my emails to Thunderbird even though this is working fine for Outlook. Before a week ago it worked fine though.

when i try to access my email i get the message LOGIN TO ACCOUNT FAILED. i found a page in this community which addressed this problem, but none of the suggestions solved the problem. it started 3 days ago. i can access my email online with FIREFOX, but when i tried with CHROME i could SEE the emails, but when i clicked on one, couldn't read it or do anything WITH it.

My email sending defaults to send later, I have to close Thunderbird to get the emails to send now.

I keep getting this message...please advise, thank you: Sending of the message failed. The message was not sent due to exceeding the allowed number of recipients. The server responded: Insufficient system storage.

My thunderbird configuration file in appdata/roaming is huge -- 8 GB. I was trying to clean out old stuff and deleted all the messages in Archives. Then I emptied the trash. BIG MISTAKE! all my gmail accounts now have an empty inbox. I'm not sure if when I delete a message from inbox, if it also deletes it from Archives. Why does TBird store my gmail inbox in archives? My configuration file is still 8GB, so maybe they are still out there somewhere.

G'day, I cannot understand why I cannot get to send any e-mails. I receive this popup. I have no idea what I did. I am in my 80s and was born too early to grasp a lot of I T.' I would appreciate somebody to tell me what I need to do please. Cheers Malcolm
