I've asked this question before. Have not received an answer. I searched the forum and have not found a solution. When I shut down my computer every night and restart it in the morning, Firefox does NOT restore my session. "Restore previous session" is not available. One individual mentioned "virtual desktop". I don't know what that is, don't have one that I know, and don't really need one. SO, can someone please help me so that my session, open tabs, are restored upon Firefox startup? I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm having a the XULRunner error. It says that Platform version "129.0.1" is not compatible with min ad max version. I read that to solve it you need to reinstall. But I don't want to loose saved passwords, bookmaks and other stuff... How can I do it?

I've read through lots of instructions, and tried to list a site as an exception to the ad blocker, but it doesn't seem to work. The site that I want to be able to contact me is Rakuten.com. Please help. This seems so complicated.

Helping a friend who is using Firefox without having a Mozilla profile/account who is upgrading to a new PC. - Is there a way to export her passwords to a file and restore to the new PC? Going from Win 7 to Win 11. - Otherwise, can she just create a Mozilla account on her old PC and turn Sync on to transfer to the new PC? I am assuming all her settings will be retained. Can't play disney+. prime video, crunchyroll or movies on youtube. I CAN play netflix. Play DRM settings is turned on and widevine shows up on plugins. I tried turning off enhanced tracking protection/ ublock/ private badger. Tried deleting user agent/ deleting firefox folder from appdata roaming and local. I am on version 129.0.1 .

as the title states we recently had to upgrade the FF versions our clients are using because of a code update that required latest version of FF. the problem now is that PDF printing is having problems when action is set to "open in firefox" it's not able to print completely the PDF. But if we change the action to "use windows default application" it works fine.

What is the technical explanation for this? We're happy to just set the FF preferences to "use windows default application" but we'll need to tell them why that is.

Even though my laptop, tablet, phone and PC have the language settings set to English (GB) my Firefox across all platforms has changed from displaying English results to displaying results in French. I have gone through and changed all my language settings in and outside of the browser from English (Canada), to English (GB) to no avail. It still shows up in French. and I have had an French to English translator popping up when searching in Firefox. I can't see anywhere else to change the language. Everywhere I see, it says English (GB), but still displays French headings to the searchs. Any help will be great. Thanks.

I belong to My Points. Each day they have different things that you can click on to open. Recently I haven't been able to open any of them. I'm wondering if Firefox is blocking something.

I used to have a green button below the video I am watching, I would click on that button then then scroll down to mp4360 then the video would download to my computer

My Firefox install apparently did a background update that did not complete, I get an error 'XULRunner / Error: Platform version '129.0' is not compatible...'

I did not (do not) have a profile I had logged into for that installation, but did have many passwords saved that I'd like to still be able to use if at all possible.

I have installed another instance of Firefox that is working (on platform 129.0), and am using Windows 11. I also turned off automatic updates in hopes of preventing this in the future.

The previous profile still exists in AppData/Roaming, but I don't know how/if I can connect it to the new installation I now have.

Is it possible to either fix the incomplete update or connect my old profile to this new instance so I don't have to reset all my passwords?

So i'm using the latest Nightly and have for like 4 days this issue, it never happened before and just after one update it started to happen. I already have set gfx.color_management.native_srgb to true. When I open firefox in troubleshoot mode it is working fine, but when it's normal and I disable all addons and extensions and themes - issue remains

Up until very recently, the YouTube Premium app worked fine w Firefox on my laptop. Now, whenever I click on a site I just get that annoying spinning circle. Is there an update I have missed? Can anyone help me with this issue?

my old computer died, but I was able to recover my hard drive to another dish, however I do not know what to search for on that disk to get my old firefox profile which has all of my bookmarks etc.

I've just realized that this laptop is labled as a Windows 10. But it is not a Windows 10, it's a Windows 11. What do I, or should I do? Or does this really make any difference or matter?
