currently FF 114.0 started about mid Feb 2023 i started to get right click lockup freeze FF updated a few times problem still there only way was to close and reopen win7 64 Pro 8gb ram 4gb GC i7cpu my win 10 is fine same FF version happens every so often but gen every day

About a week ago I started getting these message windows 'Gah. Your tab has crashed.' I have never seen these before now they're everywhere. I have tried all the Troubleshoot procedures and nothing seems to help. I've done all the cleanups and checked the add-ons but there is nothing new and no changes I am aware of.

Starting the quest (i.e., tilting at a huge, anonymous, darkside windmill) anew.

To the Firefox volunteers, developers, moderators, or whoever might read this that is willing and able to do something about it: Provide a means for end users to place the Tabs below the Bookmarks on screen.

By mistake, I close a window with lots of opened tabs and can not get them back. In the past when this happened I went to history but now there's no available option in "recently closed windows".

Ubuntu crashes while moving around a Firefox tab with a mouse, IF the mouse cursor goes thru the top bar of the laptop screen. I am using Firefox V 113.0.2, Build ID: 20230522193126 on Ubuntu 23.04. This could be an Ubuntu problem or a Firefox problem.

If I use Chrome, this does not happen.

When I use Firefox, Every. Single. Time. I log into gmail, all the instructions are in Chinese. If I just log out, default is Chinese. Do I need to change my email address? Gmail is my work email, also, and it doesn't happen with that account at work, but the default browser is Chrome.

Yes, I've repeatedly changed the language back to English. I have 2-step verification for logging in. I just changed my password, closed all browsers, reset trusted devices. Did not help. If I use Mozilla Firefox, when I type in gmail.com, my email addresses are in English; everything else is Chinese.

I wish to change the autofill of the email address when I log in to my yahoo email account . I think I need to get onto the ' Menu Panel ' but I don't know how to do this . Thanks

I saw an other article about the same possible but they had a problem with an extension but I dont have that extension but still have the same problem. Whenever i watch twitch or youtube and i alt tab or switch tabs my audio and video stops playing.

I know there are ways , with more clicks or longer shortcuts to get to some folders but this is the main and most easily accessible way to get to my bookmarks. I know this has been discussed in some older posts but they are all archived so I can't ask any questions there. Sorting by name, for me, is quite inconvenient as sometimes the bookmarks title isn't immediately, easily remembered. Thanks.

I'm running 113.0.2 (64-Bit) on Ubuntu Focal.

I just wanted to log into my bahn.de account, got prompted with a hcaptcha which I correctly answered and then got an "503 Service Unavailable" error. The problem is reproducible each time I try. It was working fine when I last tried about 2 weeks ago. I tried disabling addons and tracking protection, deleted cache + cookies + login data as well as cookie files, reset Firefox - no change. Fun fact: The login is working without issues and interestingly even without captcha showing up in Opera and Epiphany (Gnome web browser).

Any suggestions for debugging would be very much welcome. Any hint on why the hcaptcha shows up in Firefox and not in Opera and Epiphany is much appreciated, too.

A webpage has 1,200 rows.

I do Select All or drag the cursor from the first row to the last row to highlight all of the rows.

I then do Copy.

When I do Paste (using Match Destination Formatting) to paste the copied rows into an empty Excel spreadsheet, only about 65 rows get posted.

What am I doing wrong?

Usually when I start my browser for the first time, I have the Firefox homepage only. For two weeks ago, suddenly an extra tab show up when starting: A page with a commercial for installing "Avast Online Security & Privacy (Add to Firefox-button)".

I use Avast, but I don't want this add-on. And I certainly don't want that extra tab every time I start my pc.

I have three times searched for a solution all over in the Mozilla & Avast settings and on the net: I should go to "Add-ons and themes" - "Extensions" - and on the list "Manage Your Extensions" I should remove this add-on - but it's not there of course, because I didn't install it.

So how do I remove this tab from showing at start-up? (Google Search can't help) Appauling that someone put this tab on my pc in the first place. Both Avast and Mozilla have other ways to communicate with me about that add-on, if needed. Now I had to shut it down every day for two weeks, because I was way too busy to write you until now.

I can't change the language my websites are being displayed in. I changed every setting to english but websites like instagram and youtube are still showing in croatian (because I live in Croatia). I will attach a couple of pictures to prove it.

Automatic video play has been quite a nuisance in spite of using some recommended measures, such as under Firefox Settings => Privacy and Security => Permissions => Autoplay => both options set to Block Video & Audio and saving. The settings change does not appear to work.

Since I mostly use the Portableapps.com version of Firefox, I suspected it might be the issue, after noting once you restart Firefox, that the settings are both back to = Allow Video & Audio! I immediately checked out a separate standalone Firefox installation which I updated to 114.0 (64-bit), but to my dismay, noticed it does also not keep the preferred "Block Video and Audio" settings, also when the browser is restarted.

So is there a bug in the Windows versions I use on my Win 10 64bit and if not, which would be strange, what is going on, why are the settings not kept and how can effectively stop auto-play, which can be a nuisance.

An example of such videos is on Huffpost, such as https://www.huffpost.com/entry/jake-tapper-brianna-keilar-cnn-gop-race_n_647ece5ce4b0b4444c80b001 where the DeSantis video immediately loads and starts playing. The Settings save does not appear to work at all.

Firefox version 113.0.2 on Windows 10 Displayed: Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_MALFORMED_RESPONSE

Website loads fine in Chrome and Edge. Certificate verified as valid. Website hosted on SquareSpace. This is a known issue with Firefox as there are many reports with Firefox falsely reporting this error with websites hosted on SquareSpace. Occasionally happens with major sites such as google.com.

Cache and all site data cleared. No Proxy set. Endpoint protection security software disabled.

As this is a known Mozilla Firefox issue this needs to get fixed now!

I am extremely angry that I decided to move from Chrome to Firefox for a safer browser just for Firefox to lose all my login information I accumulated after some years of use. I am not sure when or how this occurred but I never received any notification that nothing was syncing or I had been logged out. I want all my login information restored. On top of that, I've always had issues with Twitch.tv and any video site crashing. My only concern is my logins being restored.

Can you please let me know, if any alternative way copy all bookmarks from Avast Browser To Firefox browser.

I have tried Import Wizard from Firefox but unable to see Avast Browser in the list, restart the pc and re-launched firefox import wizard , still unable to see Avast brower in the list

Run the firefox installer again - no go
