Hello, I recently replaced my old PC with new desktop running WIN 11. Although I am able to receive Outlook email. However, when I attempt to send mail from my Outlook address I receive an error message: "Unable to authenticate Outgoing server smtp.office365.com..." The smtp settings are attached. Firewall - Windows firewall Antivirus - MS Defender Antivirus OS - Win 11 v 23H2 Thunderbird - 129.0.1

I have comcast/xfinity email. I reset my Comcast password. Now Thunderbird is asking me to enter a new pawword. I enter it, and tell it so save it, but it doesn't work.

Does Comcast email have a different password from the main password?

How can I fix this problem?

I had a Firefox update I believe last Friday 16th August. This resulted in a disastrous event whereby an error message displayed: error message 129. I finally managed to open a version of Firefox but I had lost all my bookmarks and open tabs. I also had to sign in to all existing websites which I had previously automatically had access to. The strange thing was that the version of Firefox that I had opened was from 2022 sometime because of the data that appeared. I am totally devastated by the loss of my bookmarks. :( What can you do to help?

Hi, I'm using Linux Mint 22, Firefox 129.0 (64-bit). Browser is hanging after approximately 4 hours. Not sure if this is a Firefox issue, but this is where I'm starting the troubleshooting process. My suspects are (1) the browser, (2) NVIDIA drivers (3) the new Linux Mint kernel or possibly (4) a mix of the above. This was a fresh install with default options on (Wilma). Using the latest graphics drivers for GeForceRTX 2060, driver version 555.58.02, went down to native drivers, no change. Honestly, this one has me baffled. Been troubleshooting this for 3 days. It feels like a memory leak. Nothing on the crash reports. First, browser will hang, then mouse and keyboard. Hard reboot is the only option. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using Firefox 129.01 (64-bit), trying to log in to my Tufts Health Plan account, and get a security warning (screen shot attached). Customer Service at Tufts Health Plan tells me that I should use Chrome.

Should I ignore the Warning and proceed?

On a LIvestream I'm getting an UNDEFINED error code I've cleared cookies but the problem continued I don't know how to clear if it's on you end or the web site I use to be able to beat it before it appears not it will not let me watch any shows at all

Why every time i run thunderbird and if i leave it open too often it bring me the error message for all hotmail/outlook mail accounts i have???

What the heck is happening and how i can solve this?

For the past few weeks if you try and search and have it open in a tab your on or even a new tab it won't do it. it just does nothing. My browser is up to date. i'm not sure what is going on. often i have to close the whole browser and reopen to get it to open a new site or search what is going on

Hello Help, I go to https://support.mozilla.org/gl/questions/1340339 as per Google's directions and find 3 Firefox Feedback items, yet no way to get to the Google's and Mozilla's standard prevalent "Go to Help and click 'Submit Feedback'," yet there is no such option for this. It's odd bc I see this:

  "2 respostas    3 have this problem     2 views"

Repostas isn't even in English, and there's no way to click a "I have this problem exact same problem" and the "Views" have to be greater than 2. I see one angry feedback was complaining there is no way to submit feedback, and the response is the standard answer. Are you talking about a different Firefox or you're, for some reason, giving the Android solution? Or perhaps you pulled 3 questions submitted via the question forum, well before more people could say they also have the same issue, and posted static copies of them. At least have the wherewithal to tell us there's no way to just submit feedback other than by the question forum. This doesn't seem like too much to ask of you where you get the chance to defend yourselves when it's required. And it seems reasonable to submit feedback so as a person gets an answer, so why not say so? Anyway, that's my peeve except for a different one I'll ask separately. Cheers, r P.S. When I try to open Thunderbird, a message pops up that says the application had a problem and crashed. It also says that the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for the crash. It then says "Details: The application did not identify itself."

What do I do to fix this?

I have a virus that posts its site on my landing page / home page.

It cannot be dismissed. I cannot find any part of its URL in Finder. Norton Antivirus doesn't detect it. It cannot be overwritten. It cannot be edited away. It CAN be moved to the fourth line of home page icons and only three lines shown, which puts it out of sight. Rebooting the machine doesn't cure it.

Can I find the listing of sites on my home page and remove it from the list?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not good with computers so help has to be put in simple terms.

1. Sometimes I use the browser while the system is in dark mode.
2. Then I switch system to light mode. FF recognizes it and switches to light mode accordingly.
3. Then I use it in light mode for a little more.
4. Then some time passes (maybe a few hours), I don't use FF during that time.
5. Then, I tap on FF icon, the browser starts, but immediately switches back to dark mode, while the system is still in light mode.
6. I have to close FF by swiping on it in task switcher, and then tap on the app again.
7. FF now uses light/dark theme according to system.

I'm trying to import local mail folders from PostBox v3.0.8 into Thunderbird.

I first tried the included Import Tool and selected "Import from another Thunderbird installation" since PostBox is a fork of Thunderbird and supposedly very compatible. This seemed to go fine and all folders with the exact same numbers of messages were imported and the headers looked fine. However, when I open any message, it is completely empty (not even the from, to, subject fields are shown, just a white window).

I then just manually copied the Postbox mail folders directly into the Thunderbird folder. This also seemed to go fine (as above) but also, all messages were empty.

How can I import the messages correctly?

My Version of Thunderbird is: 128.1.0esr (64-bit) on a Windows 11 computer. After recent automatic update, the Inbox list font or sizes were changed. I have managed to isolate the style and edited it to my liking. But I do not know how to save it or make it permanent on my computer. My Changes are as follows( Copied from Developer Toolbar):
